Our Pack

Welcome to Pack 552

Pack 552 serves the community of South Hill in and around our local Puyallup elementary schools.  We are part of the Pacific Harbors Council, Rainier District.

We welcome boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Our Pack is open to new membership at all times, regardless of your child's experience level with Scouting.

Our pack asks each family to volunteer for one of our committees in order to deliver a quality program for the Scouts.  Some of the committees require very little time, while others require work each month.  Please visit the Volunteer section of our website.

The Pack requires our Scouts to wear their Class A uniform, which is the official blue Cub Scout uniform shirt (official Lion T-shirt for the Lions).  The official uniform pants or shorts are optional.  The Class B uniform is the pack T-shirt, used for outdoor events.  The Scout will need their council patch, Pack 552 patch, and World crest patch.  They will also need a neckerchief and belt.

What We Offer

Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family.  In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

Cub Scouts is a service organization that focuses on community service, good citizenship, and the outdoors. Cub Scouts teaches values through fun activities. We believe that the best way to teach scouts, is to get them outside. Pack 552 has an excellent record of developing the scouts and preparing them for their transition to BSA Scouts (formerly Boy Scouts). Our mission is to teach the scouts:

Others Before Self
Always Look for Ways to Serve
Have the Courage to Act
